Thank you!
During these difficult times we've created a procedure for picking up and dropping off food. Those coming to drop off and pick up food will stay in their cars and line up outside of church and volunteers come around with a list of items we are giving away. If you are donating food please tell us and we will give you further instructions. Please do not come past the curb, we will come to you. Please make sure you are wearing a mask, if you are not then please stay in your car. If receiving food we will take your name, family size and check off the food items that you need. You will the line and by the time your food is bagged you will be at the front of church, we will leave your food at the curb and when we walk away you can come out of your car and pick up your food. We serve families in the Beltsville and very close surrounding areas. We thank you for your patience and generosity.
St. Joseph's has a Food Pantry for those who are experiencing a need for food and live in Beltsville, Calverton, Adelphi, College Park, Greenbelt, Branchville or Laurel. The Pantry hours are 8:30-10;00 am every Saturday except the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the Saturday between Christmas and New Year's and any Saturday that falls on a Federal holiday. Our food is all non-perishable. The amount of food that one receives is based on our supply. Our clients can shop at the Pantry twice a month, with an average of 72 visits total a month.
Our parish family has been wonderful in helping us to provide the necessary food supplies to keep our shelves stocked.
We sincerely appreciate your continuing support! God bless all of you for your generosity!
We are always in need of ALDI, Costco, CVS, Dollar Tree, Giant, Rite Aid, Safeway, Sam’s, Shoppers and Shop Rite Gift Cards in order to help keep our pantry shelves well-stocked.
