A Letter to the Elderly Explored

In 1998 the Vatican issued a document on the Dignity of Older People and their Mission. In 1999 Pope John Paul II wrote ''A Letter to the Elderly''. And in 2021 Pope Francis set the Fourth Sunday of July as World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. What drives us as we age? Regrets and Worry? Or the sources of Hope that Faith brings? What does Scripture say about old age? How is the Church instructed to act out ''respect for the elderly''?
